Baking Butterley

A brief but interesting visit to Butterley. Played at it from 8.30am until 11. Helped PB most of the time. Only put in about 15 feeders fished peg 72? to the right of the rocks and right of the lilly bed peg. Deep water but gin clear. Three metres out over 6 ft depth. PB had nothing on waggler not a touch with maggots being sprayed in. Ended up with 4 fish all to shellfish bollie. All between 4-5lb. Lessons learned 1. Don't need much kit 2. Not a silvers place in hot weather 3. Red letter day awaits 4. Need to throw some serious bait big bream equals big hunger.
