A sprint across the midlands saw Nicholls and PB in Papa Chav country for a quick over night stay and session at Spring Lea, legendary Orfe Lake. Up at the crack of dawn saw a warm day ahead. Small carp to 3lb, tench, bream and a number of crucians followed. The water fizzed as pellets went in - 'its alive'. Mixture of prawn and pellet saw around 25lb in the net, plus over 50 silvers contributed by PB. The summer Fish-o-mania three fisherman challenge awaits, fingers crossed for the weather 26th/27th July.
